28th November 2007: Visit of Bishop Antoine Audo SJ
The visit of Bishop Antoine Audo, S.J. on Wednesday 29th November, was a great success. We started with a seminar at Heythrop Collee, University of London from 2:00-4:00pm. He was well introduced by Mr Anthony O'Mahony of Heythorp College.

Second paper: Christians of Iraq History and prospects
This was followed by a questions and answers session.
Attendance was about 70 people from various walks of life, including Reverend Kevin McDonald, Bishop of Southwark, Reverend Nadim Nassar, Director of Trinity Foundations for Christianity and Culture, Erica Hunter, Affiliated Lecturer in Aramaic and Syriac at the Faculty of Oriental Studies at Cambridge University. Also present was a broad selection of Iraqi, Arab and British supporters of ICIN, Trustees and members of ICIN.
Following the seminar, Bishop Audo SJ went to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Farm Street.
Mass was concelebrated by Bishop Audo SJ and Father William Pearsall, SJ at 6:00pm. Mass was attended by more than 120 people consisting of a broad selection of Iraqi and British supporters of ICIN:
St. Christopher's Catholic Church, Cheam
St. Matthias Church, Worcester Park
Mount St. Mary's College, (Jesuit School)
Bishop Audo explained, in his sermon (Arabic and briefly in English) about the situation of the Iraqi Christians fleeing Iraq and his efforts to help them. The mass was followed by a reception at the church hall which gave Bishop Audo an opportunity to meet people who have been supporting his efforts in Syria.
