Message from Mr. Joe Bahoshy

Dear Friends, Many of you are aware of the various activities being undertaken by and for the UK-registered charity, ICIN, in support of Iraqi Christians in need and I am pleased to inform you that another event, A Christmas Celebration, will be held on Saturday 5 December 2009 at 7.30 pm at St Elizabeth’s Church, The Vineyard, Richmond TW10 6AQ to which your support would be most warmly welcomed. For those of you not familiar with ICIN, may I suggest that you visit its website at www.icin.org.uk when you have a moment. This event will consist of a celebration of Christmas with readings and carols, both familiar and not so familiar, accompanied on the Organ. Singers from the London Symphony Chorus, probably Europe’s best non-professional chorus, will perform and lead the singing. There will be several opportunities for everyone to join in with the old favourites. There will also be a young Iraqi choir to perform 2 Iraqi carols that should give us a flavour of the music of Iraq. This first part is then to be followed by a Grand Iraqi Buffet that will enhance your culinary experience, as those you who attended last year’s event will bear witness. Drinks will be available at the bar. Tickets are £20 for (Concert only) or £40 for (Concert & Buffet) and are available from me (T:020 8891 3471, jbahoshy@blueyonder.co.uk), from Suhail Michael (T: 020 8393 7771, Suhail.Michael@icin.org.uk) and from Anita Lassow-Azar (T: 07787 524792 , Anita.Azar@icin.org.uk). Please let one of us know at the earliest possible opportunity your ticket requirements for (Concert only) or (Concert + Buffet). All cheques are to be made payable to ICIN. Judging by last year’s sales, I encourage you to apply for tickets sooner rather than later. I am hoping that this event will have widest appeal and therefore I would be particularly grateful if you would promote it to your friends and through your local parish, school, business ...etc. you can download a copy of the flyer which you can forward with your emails. Should you require hard copies of posters/flyers on A5 or A4, then please to let one of us know.

Any bottles, can include all kinds of beverage , alcoholic or soft drinks in all sizes, cans, even if small bottles of oil, vinegar, or anything that comes in bottles!
