Q:
Why don’t you display names of
recipients?
A:
At present, for fear of targeted
kidnapping, we have to be
cautious.
Q:
What percentage of the money
collected goes towards expense of running the charity?
A:
This Charity is
being run with no administration
costs, and all expenses are
being paid for by the trustees
and other generous helpers.
Q:
What is the minimum amount I can
donate?
A:
All donations no matter how
small will be appreciated.
Q:
I have family that has become in
need, why should I donate to you
and not directly to them?
A:
We know the
problem is so severe that almost
every Iraqi family has a
relative that is affected.
However this should not deter
anyone from making a small
donation to non relatives. After
all, donating to close member of
the family, is not usually in
small amounts. Donating through
our charity can be as little as
Pounds £10/£20.
No donation is too small.
Q:
How can I donate?
A:
Internet Bank Transfer,Cheque,
Credit / Debit card via PayPal
or Cash to one of the trustees.
Q:
Who handles the donations?
A:
Funds are raised through
donations, sponsorships and
other activities. The funds are
then deposited in the bank until
such time that they are
distributed.
Q:
Who distributes it?
A:
The funds are distributed to the
needy and displaced Christians
inside Iraq or in one of the
neighbouring countries, mainly
Syria and Jordan. This is done
by organisations (mainly the
church) or individuals who are
very well-known to the trustees.
This Is decided by the Trustees
but the actual distribution of
funds is allocated locally by
the recipient of the funds. The
trustees also expect to receive
a report with full details of
how the money was distributed
locally.
Q:
How your donation could help an
Iraqi Christian In Need?
A:
£ 100 Pounds can feed a family
of 4 for a month.
