There are literally thousands of ways to raise funds for your charity. You can wash cars, have a garage sale, bake sale, cake sale, art sale, crafts sale, cookie sale and well, you get the idea.
 

One of the challenges you face in drumming up support and raising funds for your charity, is the fact that as human beings we are selfish by nature. The thing we are most interested in is ourselves. Most people are not willing to spend a lot of time in this hurry up, not enough hours in the day era we live in, promoting, giving or even knowing that your charity exists.

So what are you to do?????

By giving people something to do that they already enjoy doing, and at the same time allowing them to support your charity, takes all the hazards of traditional fund raising out of the equation and lets everybody experience a good situation.

People are selfish by nature and are always interested in what's in it for them. Well now you can tell them exactly what's in for them. They will be helping your charity and at the same time feeling good about themselves while creating a never ending stream of funding. What could be better?

You can go the route of car washes, cake and cookie sales, craft sales etc. and you will make some money or you can tell people about the wonderful new program you just discovered that will allow them to shop just like they are already doing and at the same time they will be contributing to the building/renovation project fund.

Well, now it's up to you. You can continue to choose the traditional methods of fund raising and go through the same old exhausting routines of asking for money or you can embrace the new world of fund raising and help to create a never ending stream of funding for all your needs.

Sponsored Walk

I am the head teacher of St Andrew’s Catholic Secondary School, Leatherhead, Surrey. During the summer one of your members spoke at Mass at Ealing Abbey, my parish, explaining the work you do. Subsequently I telephoned you for more information and was directed to your website which was most informative. We have chosen you as our school charity this year and will be doing a sponsored walk 23.10.2009 with half the money raised coming to you and half supporting the 2 secondary schools and a kindergarten we support in Tanzania. Our younger students will walk 6 miles and our older students 12. We will take photos and we hope to raise £1000 for your use.

A talk at Carroll night

Rafel Jibry and wife Yasmine in Bristol did a talk at Carroll night for ICIN followed by a collection afterwards raising £311 at St Bonaventure's Catholic Church.

Fashion show

Dalia Rassam organised a fashion show at her School ( James Allen Girls School, Dulwich )raised 860 pounds which was shared by two charities ICIN and British heart foundation, two cheques totalling 405.72 were received.
